The Department of Juvenile Services (DJS) is an executive agency whose primary task is to appropriately manage, supervise, and treat youth who are involved in the juvenile justice system in Maryland.The Department of Juvenile Services is involved in nearly every stage of the juvenile justice process from the moment a youth is brought into a juvenile intake center by the police or as a result of a citizen complaint to the time when a youth returns to the community after completing treatment.[…]

The Caroline County Department of Corrections protects the public, its employees, and detainees and offenders under its supervision. We accomplish this mission not only by keeping out inmates securely within our facility, but by working hard to ensure that they emerge as more responsible citizens upon their reentry into society.[…]

PRISM exists to assist current inmates of Maryland state prisons with their 8th Amendment rights, specifically medical issues and sentence calculations. In order to begin the process, inmates must write to the address above.PRISM does NOT deal with civil or criminal cases or appeals.[…]
