Denton Town Council members are: Abigail McNinch (Mayor), Dallas Lister, Keith Johnson, Lester Branson and Doncella Wilson. Town meetings are the first Thursday of each month at 7 PM.
The town office has 4 departments. The Police Department is committed to the concepts of community oriented policing and serving our citizens, the law-abiding public, appropriately, completely and professionally. The Finance Department establishes and implements the financial policies and procedures of the Town, invest funds, and handles the deposits and payments of Town revenues and expenditures. The Planning & Codes Department is responsible for building permits, property maintenance, rental registrations, site plan reviews, historic reviews, critical area reviews, Board of Appeals applications. The Public Works Department is responsible for providing many essential town services by establishing, maintaining, and operating the Town’s infrastructure and facilities.
