Ridgely Volunteer Fire Department

To provide emergency fire, rescue and EMS services to the citizens of Caroline and surrounding counties as needed. There is a Junior Cadet program for teenagers ages 12-15. Cadet program starts at age 16. Youth volunteers are accepted at ages 16-18 for Junior Fire Fighter, and those 18 and older can become full members. You must apply to the fire department for admission for their free fire or EMS training, and a background check is required. Persons interested in joining RVFD may print a membership application from our website at www.rvfd400.com and bring complete application to the fire department. A meeting room/Fire hall is available for rent and seats 150 people. Charge is $50 per hour to a maximum of $300 per event. For hall bookings please visit our website or call 410-634-2424.
