The Historic Federalsburg Elementary School was the original African American Elementary School in Federalsburg, MD., from 1918-1968. The Community Civic League was formed to reestablish the resolution of the building, to include early childhood education, and serve the youth and families in the community.
The Community Pantry is open the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 4:00PM – 6:00PM. MASK Required. FREE Food & Clothing. Please call (410) 754-6011 or 302-604-4216 for emergency food pick-up.
The organization continues working to preserve and restore the building while keeping the community connected. Have an idea for an event or service for the community? Consider the school building as the home for your event. The building is available for rental for celebrations, programs, services and community functions.
