Electric service provided to residential, agricultural, commercial and industrial consumers. Speakers’ bureau, electrical safety education, and energy conservation information programs available. SCHOLARSHIP: High school or home school seniors whose parents or guardians are members or employees of Choptank Electric Cooperative are eligible to apply for seven $2,000 college scholarships.ASSISTANCE: Operation Round Up® is Choptank Electric Cooperative’s community service assistance program. According to its bylaws, the Trust board may make donations to any worthwhile community cause, except no funds can be used for political purposes or to pay electric bills. The current mission statement of the Choptank Electric Trust allows for donations to be made for food, clothing, shelter, equipment, medical and educational needs.

Eligibility: Electric consumers must live within co-op service territory. Educational programs available to all.
