Animal care and control, animal rescue and rehabilitation, enforcement of local animal welfare laws and prosecution of animal cruelty, animal adoption, humane education programs, promoting responsible pet ownership. Spay and neuter program for County residents. Acts as a resource for people finding injured wildlife, such as birds or other animals, who want to know about agencies that provide wildlife rehabilitation. We are always looking for volunteers. Volunteers 14 or older may volunteer without a guardian. 10-14 year olds may volunteer with adult supervision. All volunteers must go through our volunteer orientation which is 9am the second Saturday of the month.Eligibility: There are eligibility requirements for the spay/neuter program and also for adopting an animal.
