Caroline County Public Schools is a system consisting of approximately 5,500 students; more than 380 professional staff members, and ten schools. Instructional programs in all subject areas are offered. A comprehensive academic and vocational program includes classes for students of all ability levels. A free Pre-Kindergarten program is available at all 5 elementary schools for qualifying preschoolers. Teachers are part of a continuous curriculum improvement program, and may participate in a number of staff development and in-service programs.
