The mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is: 1. To support the American Legion programs for veterans, children, and community. 2. To provide for today’s needs, while being advocates for a brighter future. 3. To advance the understanding of patriotism and responsibility of citizenship. 4. To promote individual integrity and family values. 5. To ensure that, as volunteers, we continue to be the leaders in all that is good in this nation today, tomorrow, and for generations to come, through serving others, not self.

Provides support to children, youth, and veterans through a variety of programs. Gives book scholarships to three high school students each year. Supports local charitable organizations, including the American Legion. Sponsors local high school juniors to attend the Girls State conference each year. Provides catering for American Legion Post Home #29. New officers installed in August. Meets 1st Thursday of the month, 7PM.
Eligibility
Women who have direct personal connection with military service during time of war or conflict. This service is through a member of one’s own immediate family who served in the Armed Forces during war or conflict, or through one’s own service with the Armed Forces.
