Service
Offers pro bono (free) legal assistance to income qualified individuals in civil legal matters. Examples of legal issues they can assist with include family law, bankruptcy and debt, small claims, advanced medical directives, wills or probate, landlord-tenant disputes, divorce, and guardianship. Mid-Shore Pro Bono does not handle criminal cases, traffic cases or appeals. Mid-Shore Pro Bono offers a number of programs dedicated to dispute and conflict resolution which include: Free Civil Legal Clinics, Lawyer Referral, Community Conferencing, Foreclosure Prevention, Bankruptcy Clinic, Collaborative Practice for Family Law Disputes, Consumer Protection.
