Provides food to those in need through food pantry and Mega Food Giveaways. Mega Food Giveaways take place on a bi-monthly basis on the 3rd Thursday of the month. To register for alerts about future distribution dates, you can text (in all capital letters) "THINKINGOFYOU" to 84483. Should food be needed prior to the next distribution, call and leave a message with your name and telephone number on the voicemail and your call will be returned for a box of food which can be picked up on a Wednesday evening or Sunday after service. Affiliated with Maryland Food Bank, so the only criteria to receive assistance is that you are a Maryland resident.
Neighbors United to Serve (NUTS) is a volunteer community group of individuals who have served Thanksgiving dinners to Caroline County families every year since 1992. We are supported entirely by donations of time, talent and treasure. This year we hope to share the blessings of Thanksgiving with 1,100 friends and neighbors. To send a request for a thanksgiving dinner please call or email us. If you send a request via email, phone or text if the request is able to be approved you will receive a message confirming approval.
Provides a food mobile distribution to those in need on the first Friday of every third month from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. They partner with the Maryland Food Bank. Please bring a medium sized box to carry your items in.
Currently, the North County Clergy, coordinates the following community events: 1. A Community Thanksgiving Service with a Soup and Sandwich Fellowship; 2. A Community Lenten Series; 3. National Day of Prayer Gathering. The North County Clergy is also working cooperatively in the following areas: 1. Providing a North County Food Pantry at Trinity United Methodist Church in Goldsboro called "Giving Grace". 2. Providing a monthly meal ministry called Soup's on Us". The meal is the 1st Saturday of every month from 11 AM-1 PM at Wheatley Hall at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Greensboro. Although the meal is mostly delivered by volunteers to people in the community, you can also eat in or take out the meal. Volunteers are needed to help cook the meal, and to donate food and money to the ministry. 3. Providing a community cold weather shelter through "Winter Haven." The North County Clergy Assn. generally meets for fellowship and business on the last Wednesday of every month (except December, June and July) at the Greensboro Baptist Church Family Life Center at 9:30 AM. Provides clothing, emergency food, eviction prevention assistance, and utility assistance to those in need. Please have the following for assistance: photo ID, social security numbers for everyone in the household, proof of income, proof of address, and your lease. Administers the Rental Assistance Program for Caroline County.
Thrift Store open to the public. The Thrift Shop is open from 8:00am - 12:00pm every 1st Saturday of the month. The furniture barn with re-open in the spring. Donations of clothing and small household items accepted M-Fri. 8:30-4:30. Bins available for donations 24 hours a day. Accept donations of clothing, toys, household items, and books. Items must be in good condition.
Traditional Church Service at 11 AM. Offers Sunday School which starts at 9:30 with both children's and adult classes. , Teen Disciples begin with lunch, immediately after the 11:00 service on Sunday. Vacation Bible school.

Offers preschool to children ages 3-4. Union United Methodist Church is the proud home of Union Preschool. Youth Ministry is extremely important to the Union UMC family and as such present many opportunities throughout the year for child and family involvement. You do not need to be a member of Union to participate in any or all of these activities. We would love to have you. Regular Sunday School classes are held during the school year from 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. each week. Classes are offered for PreSchool Children through High School. An Adult Sunday School Class, taught by Pastor Dan, is also at the same time. Bring your child(ren) to Sunday School and treat yourself to a time of fellowship and learning as well.
