If you or a loved one are in need of assistance with food or clothing and live in Caroline County, Crisis Care Ministries can help. Additionally, they can assist with your housing search and act as a liaison between you and the landlord. They are not currently a funded ministry but rather rely on donations of food, clothing, and personal care items. They work with local, state, and federal agencies to provide support. Thus they do not have the ability to provide funding of any kind at the current time. Those in need are required to show proof of residence (utility bill, lease or ID) and should contact either Charles or Melissa Busch at any time.
Provides food to those in need through their food pantry and Food Distribution Day. Food Distribution Days take place on a bi-monthly basis on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 3-4pm. Should food be needed prior to the next distribution day, please feel free to contact the church and if food is available through their in-house pantry, they are more than happy to help. Please bring your own grocery bags or reusable bags. The Food Distribution Days are affiliated with the Maryland Food Bank so the only criteria to receive assistance is that you are a Maryland resident.
