Denton Camp is a Christian Campground and retreat center that is perfect for groups of all sizes from 20-300 (and concerts up to 800). We offer a quiet sanctuary with modern day conveniences perfect for spiritual retreats and training events. For retreats, we offer overnight lodging in dormatories, RV spaces, and cottages as well as meeting spaces including two dining halls and a gym. We also offer wonderful outdoor amenities including a playground, pond, pavilion, and sports fields.

Buys eyeglasses for needy children. Sponsors little league team and provides holiday food baskets for needy families. Holds various fundraisers, including chicken BBQ's and selling funnel cakes at community events. Supports national and international work of the Lions Club, such as the Lions Eye Bank and leader-dog training program. Meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM from Sept.-June at the Marydel Community Hall on Main St. in Marydel. Meeting room available for public use. The hall is located 110 Firehouse Lane in Marydel, Delaware 19964 . Meals are catered by the Fireman & Ladies Auxiliary of the Marydel Fire Company. They can handle small or large Banquets up to 300 people. It is our Goal to make your event truly "special" with delicious food served in a beautiful and cheerful atmosphere. MRDC Head Start offers comprehensive services to low income families including early childhood education, nutrition, health and social services, and encourages strong parental involvement. HUD certified staff provides counseling and assistance in landlord/tenant relations and eviction prevention, foreclosure prevention, and loss mitigation. First-time homebuyer counseling is available to low income households seeking to improve their housing conditions. The Circuit Rider Program helps small communities receive direct and technical assistance in personnel administration, grant preparation, & administration and overall administrative oversight.

To provide emergency fire, rescue and EMS services to the citizens of Caroline and surrounding counties as needed. There is a Junior Cadet program for teenagers ages 12-15. Cadet program starts at age 16. Youth volunteers are accepted at ages 16-18 for Junior Fire Fighter, and those 18 and older can become full members. You must apply to the fire department for admission for their free fire or EMS training, and a background check is required. Persons interested in joining RVFD may print a membership application from our website at www.rvfd400.com and bring complete application to the fire department. Schrader's Bridgetown Manor is a sporting outfitter that features hunting, fishing, 3-D archery, and sporting clays. Youth summer camps also offered. Schraders has a bed and breakfast on site.
