The Drug Free Caroline Coalition (DFCC) is a group of Caroline County citizens concerned about underage drinking, underage tobacco use, and other drug use among our youth and its effects on the community. The group meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month, 12:00pm to 2:00pm. If you are interested in attending, please call before the meeting. The Coalition coordinates events within the community, educates alcohol vendors, implement public awareness campaigns, and speaks to groups concerning underage drinking and its effects. The DFCC is a program run out of the Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Office - Caroline County Health Department. The Coalition sponsors the TIPS LINE for anonymous reporting of underage drinking parties or other alcohol or drug behaviors. The TIPS LINE number is 443-786-7489. RESET Program is an early intervention opportunity for parents of teens and young adults who may or may not have fallen victim to Peer Pressure, Poor Grades, Disrespect to Family or alcohol and/or drugs. The RESET Program serves young offenders between the ages of 10 - 24 through a series of four structured classes, students are educated about the importance of family along with sharing information about peer pressure and social media. Goal setting includes their life's ambitions including their peer support and family support. Our students also learn about the truths relating to use of alcohol and drugs. RESET any teen and young adult regardless of the place of residence. RESET is presented in Queen Anne's and Kent Counties. www.resetmaryland.com -

Training for Intervention ProcedureS (TIPS) Program is offered to Liquor licensees, Bartenders, Cashiers and Servers of alcohol allowing each employee to better understand the law and their civic responsibility. TIPS training provides servers the ability to enhance their "people" skills and to recognize someone who is becoming intoxicated and understanding their right of refusal to continue serving patrons and how to assist in having patrons get home safely.
