Caroline County Board of Elections

Purpose: 
To oversee the conduct of all federal, state, and local elections held in Caroline County, in accordance with the Constitution of the United States, Election Law of the Annotated Code of Maryland, and the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR).
Services Provided: 

Conducts elections, assists persons seeking elective office with candidate filings and campaign reports, assists citizens wishing to place questions on ballots, maintains and preserves electoral information and records, provides electoral information to the public, and registers voters.

Eligibility: 
You must be a resident of Maryland in order to become a registered voter. You must also be a resident of Caroline County to be eligible to vote a regular ballot in Caroline County. Check our website at www.carolinemdelections.org to find out where your official polling place is located. You can also use our website to register for the first time, make changes to or update your voter registration record, get information on where and how to vote and find out about becoming an election judge. All first time registrants in the State of Maryland must provide a current Driver's License number on the voter application. If you do not have a valid Maryland driver's license or MVA ID card, you must provide the last 4 digits of your social security number.
